I spent a large portion of my weekend watching Christmas movies.
I am lucky enough to have multiple Hallmark and Lifetime channels, so I had many movies to choose from. I had a hard time figure out which ones were worthy of watching and didn’t find many reviews or recommendations out there, so I thought maybe you all could benefit from my free time.
You have to go into this understanding that these are not Oscar caliber movies, they are somewhat hokey and have a ton of repetitive themes and activities. Also, the acting varies greatly. Another thing that varies greatly is the chemistry between the main characters. Some of them are so awkward it’s difficult to watch! Others seem like they really were high school sweethearts who went off to the big city and casually run into each other in their quaint hometown!
