\"How<\/a><\/p>\n

Oh my goodness, how true is this?\u00a0 Back when I was dating, this was a major red flag for me.\u00a0 Anyone who is rude to a server is not a nice person in my book.\u00a0 I really do believe people who are unnecessarily nasty to others are inherently unhappy in their own lives.\u00a0 Just glance at your Facebook feed to see evidence of that.\u00a0 Those who go on rants on things in the local and national spotlight tend to have very complicated and unhappy pasts and home lives in my experience.\u00a0\u00a0Especially when it is directed to others.\u00a0 I am sometimes driven to disbelief by the venom I see\u00a0regarding strangers especially on social media.\u00a0 I am not sure how you can be that hateful towards someone you do not have direct contact with.\u00a0 Just turn your channel or close your browser, no one is making you read, watch or comment.<\/p>\n

When out with friends or others, you can usually tell who has not ever held a service job by their reaction when things don’t go perfectly.\u00a0 The food is late or wrong, the line is too long, etc.\u00a0 How uncomfortable is it when they are rude? I used to know someone who was very rude to servers, to the point I wouldn’t go out if that person was going to be in our group.\u00a0 She didn’t see anything wrong with her comments or behavior as she felt it was part of their job.\u00a0\u00a0I don’t think I need to say that she had never worked in the service industry and it showed.<\/p>\n

That being said, I do take my wallet and my time to places that appreciate me.\u00a0 I have broken up with more than one retailer based on bad experiences.<\/p>\n
