\"Salty<\/a><\/p>\n

It was so hot in Pittsburgh this weekend, that we decided to catch a movie.\u00a0 We agreed to go see Trainwreck, the Amy Schumer movie.\u00a0 I thought you might want to hear my take (and my husband’s) on the movie.<\/p>\n

Amy has been told from an early age that commitment is impossible and is living her life by that credo.\u00a0 She has an apartment, a job and a sort of boyfriend.\u00a0 She drinks too much, smokes too much weed and hooks up with random people on a frequent basis.\u00a0 Your basic trainwreck, but who isn’t a little bit of a trainwreck themselves?<\/p>\n

As we begin to see Amy’s life, we see the reasons behind some of her decisions and while we may not agree with them, we understand them a bit more.\u00a0 There are tons of laughs in this movie, mostly provided by the assorted comedians and athletes sprinkled throughout the story.<\/p>\n

I thought the movie was about 20 minutes too long, but definitely funny.\u00a0 I laughed a\u00a0lot.\u00a0I loved the famous cameos who were willing to make fun of themselves and their images.\u00a0 I’m not giving anything away by saying\u00a0LeBron James is in it a ton,\u00a0since he is in the previews.\u00a0 He is\u00a0actually a pretty good actor, I was pleasantly surprised.<\/p>\n

I rate movies by a “how much I am willing to pay to see them” scale (Free on Network TV, Pay Channel, DVD, Matinee, Full Price).\u00a0 We saw this as a matinee, but I would pay full price to see this, which is hearty praise!<\/p>\n
