Have you heard the news? Scrunchies are making a comeback!\u00a0 I cannot believe it!\u00a0 They have been spotted here and there especially in Asia since their heyday in the late 80’s\/90’s, but their appearance on the Chanel fall runway makes it official.<\/p>\n

This time they seem to be mainly used as part of a top knot and have been spotted on starlets like Selena Gomez and Rita Ora.\u00a0 They, of course,\u00a0are too young to have lived through scrunchies the first time!\u00a0 The 2014 scrunchie appears to be a little smaller than its predecessor, which is of course a good thing.<\/p>\n

I did a quick google search and found them at Topshop, American Apparel, Free People, Walmart and Nordstrom.\u00a0 I am absolutely positive I owned one of those plaid ones at one point!\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0I also found a couple tutorials on Pinterest to make your own scrunchie.<\/p>\n

As a past user of them, I have to say they are super comfy and don’t pull your hair especially while sleeping.\u00a0 I could see myself using one as part of a top knot or messy bun maybe.\u00a0 What’s your feeling on the return of the scrunchie?\u00a0And can the banana clip be far behind?
